project: M&H Signs Estimator
Purpose: While out in the field doing installs, the employees of M&H Signs were often asked for quotes. With the many different materials and options available, it was hard to remember prices and calculate costs. The owner was finding that quotes were inaccurate and employees often forgot to record the estimate. The solution - a mobile app that each employee could download on his/her phone to estimate and record quotes. The app works on Android and Apple phones.

This application was created in 2015 using Ionic (version 1.0). The app calculates an estimate, collects some basic info about the client, and sends an email to the client and the owner. While this is an old application, it is still working and meets the client's needs today.
The application includes a web interface that allows employees in the shop to estimate costs for walk-ins or phone calls. This application's code is separate from the mobile app. Today, the mobile and web apps would use the same code base.
There is also an admin portal that allows the owner / admin to change material prices, profit margins, finishing options, etc. This is a web application that interfaces with the same database as the mobile app to make the updates.
